Markéta Poskočilová, historian and artist, presented to the pupils at the Olomouc Museum of Art the importance of books in the Middle Ages. The participants were convinced that the invention of the printing press represented a real revolution in the dissemination of ideas. Pupils had the opportunity to experience the challenges of printing with a press from the time of Johann Gutenberg in contrast to today's modern technologies.
The programe is based on the educational areas Man and his world (RVP) Causes, art and culture (RVP ZP), supports the development of communicative and social competences, sensory perception and creativity.
