Restoration Projects in the Archbishop's Chateau and Garden

The UNESCO Club in cooperation with the Administration of the Archbishop's Chateau in Kroměříž and the Museum of Art Olomouc offered to the interested public not only a tour of the accessible areas of the castle, but also a presentation of the projects currently running here. The event was opened by the Member of the European Parliament Michaela Šojdrová. The project manager Štěpán Sittek (Olomouc Archbishopric) presented the restoration project of the Archbishop´s Chateau and the Chateau Garden. The new international project Loaded – Open: Digitisation, Accessibility and Educational Use of Art Collections in Memory Institutions (EEA Funds 2014 - 2021) was also presented here. The concept and content of the project was presented by Jana Macháčková (Museum of Art Olomouc). She focused in particular on presentation of the art collections that will be digitized, as well as on introducing the educational activities and other accompanying programmes prepared for the public within the project.
