Opening of the Summer Music Academy Kroměříž 2022

The fifth edition of the Summer Music Academy Kroměříž opened with a concert entitled Return of Peace. The audience listened to compositions by several Baroque masters performed by the Collegium Colloredo Orchestra in the Rotunda of the Flower Garden. The concert was officially opened by the artistic director of the Academy, Tomáš Netopil. He was the leader of the orchestra and a baroque violinist. Several works from the Kromeriz archives were also performed: Stella Coeli extirpavit (Gratiani Bonifatio), Sonatae a 3 No. 2, Sonatae a 3 No. 3 (Pietro Andrea Ziani).

The harpsichordist and Academy lecturer Barbara Maria Willi performed, Jana Chytilová Anýžová played the violin, Petra Čadová Machková played the cello and Karel Fleischlinger played the lute. The audience had the opportunity to listen to the soprano Markéta Klaudová, a graduate of the Summer Music Academy.
