Sunday's Baroque concert in the rotunda of the Flower Garden presented virtuoso performances of other gems from the musical archive of the Chateau Kroměříž. The unconventional title Moravian Kiss to Saxony, metaphorically referring to the origin of the presented musical greats Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Friedrich Händel, was complemented during the evening by compositions by other important Baroque masters.
The dramaturgically diverse musical programme by the energetic Barbara Maria Willi offered the audience Baroque emotionality as well as one of the most sophisticated violin sonatas of the Chateau Kroměříž music archive: the unique Violin Sonata Solo by Georg Muffat. Musicians, lecturers and laureates of the Music Academy enlivened the intimate space of the Baroque rotunda with their masterful performances.
