Free educational workshops for schools

We have prepared fun workshops for students: The mystery of old manuscripts and The story of oak balls, which can at your school or the Olomouc Museum of Art.

The workshops are funded by the EEA and Norway Grants and are therefore free of charge for schools.

At the workshops we will discover what the rare manuscripts of the historical library in Kroměříž hide, how a handwritten book was created and what a good scribe's workshop should contain. We will try out the preparation of oak ball ink, the creation of writing instruments and the preparation of pigments for richly decorated initials.
